Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU & SIGHTSEEING

Arrival/Pickup: Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our representative will meet, assist, and transfer you to your hotel in a private Nepali tourist vehicle.

Welcome: Enjoy a welcome drink at the hotel and proceed for a short briefing regarding your program.

Afternoon/Evening Sightseeing: Head out for your first spiritual tour: visit the massive Boudhanath Stupa, the sacred Guhyeshwari Shakti Peeth, and the revered Pashupatinath Temple.

Late Evening/Leisure: After your tour, you are free to explore the vibrant Thamel Market for shopping, dining, or experiencing the local nightlife.

(Note: Transfers for Thamel market, shopping, casinos, and clubbing are strictly on the guest's own).

Overnight: Kathmandu

  • Place Descriptions:
    • Thamel Market: The bustling tourist hub of Kathmandu, famous for its narrow alleys lined with colorful shops selling trekking gear, vibrant handicrafts, pashminas, and souvenirs, alongside a lively array of restaurants, cafes, and bars.
    • Boudhanath Stupa: As one of the largest stupas in the world, Boudhnath is a hub of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The towering white dome is adorned with colorful prayer flags, and the area is surrounded by monasteries and shops selling religious artifacts. Pilgrims and tourists alike circumambulate the stupa, spinning prayer wheels and offering their devotion.
    • Pashupatinath Temple: This revered Hindu temple complex is located along the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his manifestation as Pashupati, the Lord of Animals. The temple's intricate architecture and the rituals performed here provide a deep insight into Hindu spirituality and funeral practices.
    • Guhyeshwari Temple (Shakti Peeth): This sacred Hindu temple near the Pashupatinath complex is dedicated to Goddess Guhyeshwari, a form of Goddess Parvati. Revered as one of the Shakti Peethas, it is believed to mark the place where a sacred part of Goddess Sati fell. The temple is an important center for Shakti and Tantric worship.

DAY 02: KATHMANDU TO POKHARA VIA MANAKAMANA

Morning: After breakfast and early morning activities, take a scenic drive to Pokhara (Approx. 200 km / 6–7 hours).

En-Route: Visit the holy Manakamana Temple via a 10-minute Cable Car ride.

Optional Activity (With Extra Cost): Trishuli River White Water Rafting along the highway route.

Evening: Check-in at your hotel in Pokhara and rest.

Overnight: Pokhara

  • Place Descriptions:
    • Manakamana Temple: A sacred Hindu shrine located in Gorkha. Situated atop a hill, it is dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees. Accessible by a cable car ride, it offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and the Trishuli River.

DAY 03: POKHARA TO JOMSOM (OVERLAND DRIVE)

Early Morning Sightseeing: Visit Devi’s Falls and Gupteshwor Cave.

Drive to Jomsom: After breakfast, begin your breathtaking overland drive deep into the Himalayas toward Jomsom.

Overnight: Jomsom

  • Place Descriptions:
    • Devi’s Falls: Also known as "Patale Chhango," this mesmerizing waterfall is formed by the Pardi Khola stream, which disappears underground into a mysterious cave.
    • Gupteshwor Cave: Adjacent to Devi's Falls, this mystical underground cave system houses a sacred Shiva lingam and is illuminated by dim lights, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

DAY 04: HOLY MUKTINATH DARSHAN & DRIVE TO POKHARA

  • Early Morning Darshan: Drive from Jomsom to the sacred Muktinath Temple. Perform your Puja and take a holy bath in the 108 water spouts.
  • (Important Note for Darshan): From the Muktinath bus park, guests must walk to the main temple. Alternatively, you can hire a horse or dolly at an extra cost, which is payable directly to the locals on-site.
  • Afternoon Drive & Sightseeing: After Darshan, drive back down to Pokhara. On the route/upon arrival, proceed for a sightseeing tour visiting the revered Bindabasini Temple and conclude with a relaxing boat ride to Taal Barahi Temple.
  • Optional Extra Sightseen (With Extra Cost): If time permits, you may choose to visit the giant Shiva statue at Pumdikot and the World Peace Pagoda.
  • Overnight: Pokhara
  • Place Descriptions:
    • Muktinath Temple: Perched at 3,710 meters in Nepal's Mustang region, it is a revered site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it boasts 108 water spouts symbolizing purity. Pilgrims seek spiritual cleansing in its holy waters.
    • Bindabasini Temple: Situated in the heart of Pokhara, this is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to the goddess Bindabasani, known for its intricate architecture and vibrant religious ceremonies.
    • Taal Barahi Temple: A small, ornate pagoda-style temple located on an island in Phewa Lake. Dedicated to the goddess Barahi, visitors take a boat ride across the lake to reach it.

DAY 05: POKHARA TO KATHMANDU DRIVE & SIGHTSEEING

Morning Drive: Early in the morning after breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu (Approx. 200 km / 6–7 hours).

Afternoon Sightseeing: Upon arrival in Kathmandu, visit Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) to seek blessings.

Evening: Transfer to your hotel. You are free to do last-minute shopping or visit a Casino.

(Note: Vehicle usage for evening casino drops or clubbing is strictly on your own and subject to an extra transport rate).

Overnight: Kathmandu

  • Place Descriptions:
    • Jal Narayan (Sleeping Vishnu): This sacred site features a colossal statue of Lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of serpents, floating on a cosmic ocean. Carved from a single stone, it is a remarkable example of ancient craftsmanship and Hindu devotion.

DAY 06: KATHMANDU DEPARTURE

Early Morning Optional Activity (With Extra Cost): Everest Mountain Flight (1-hour early morning flight) for a face-to-face view of Mount Everest.

Departure: Early in the morning after breakfast, transfer to the international airport for your onward departure flight.

  • Transfers: Private air-conditioned or non Ac as Per Pacakge Nepali tourist vehicle for all airport transfers, intercity drives, and standard point-to-point sightseeing as per the itinerary.
  • Muktinath Sector Transport: For the overland Muktinath trip (Pokhara–Jomsom–Muktinath), we use a Jeep, Toyota Hiace, based on the situation. (Note: A Jeep drive is compulsory from Pokhara to Jomsom and Muktinath during the rainy season and winter due to muddy and off-road conditions). * Permits: Compulsory ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) permit and TIMS card for the Muktinath visit. (Note: Guests need to provide 1 photo and a softcopy of their Election Aadhar or Passport with which they are traveling at the time of package confirmation to issue the permit early).
  • Welcome: Welcome drink upon arrival at the hotels.
  • Accommodation: 02 Nights accommodation in Kathmandu, 02 Nights in Pokhara, and 01 Night in Jomsom.
  • Meal Plan: As per the agreed package rate.
  • Taxes: All applicable hotel and local vehicle logistic taxes.

Exclusions (Not Included in the Price)

  • Optional Extra Sightseen: Costs for hiring dedicated local vehicles or taxis for Pumdikot and the World Peace Pagoda.
  • Evening/Night Vehicle Usage: Transfers for Thamel market, shopping, casinos, and clubbing are strictly on the guest's own.
  • Muktinath Local Transport (Horse/Dolly): From the Muktinath bus park, guests can either walk to the temple or take a horse/dolly. This is charged at an extra cost payable directly to the locals.
  • Optional Activities: Any activities marked as "(With Extra Cost)" (e.g., Everest Mountain Flight, Paragliding, Cable Car tickets, Rafting).
  • Entry Fees: Entrance fees for all monuments, temples, caves, and heritage sites.
  • Airfare & Visa: International/Domestic airfare and Nepal Entry Visa fees.
  • Personal Expenses: Telephone, laundry, porterage, bar bills, and shopping.
  • Contingencies: Additional costs due to flight cancellations, roadblocks, bad weather, or natural calamities.
